While spending a number of years in various roles as engineers, both Maude Maher-Bussières and Myrianne Côté often had difficulty finding language service providers who could grasp technical concepts and ideas and effectively translate these in a meaningful way for the science and technology community.
In 2004, they founded Permutation specifically to fulfill the needs of health sciences, pharmaceutical, software and infrastructure companies that produce documentation in both of Canada's official languages.
